The kitchen gets loud around 9AM.
That’s when the volunteers arrive. Some bring their own knives. By 11, the whole building smells like home.
10,429 meals prepared in our central kitchen this year, rescued ingredients turned into meals ready to eat, every single day.
More than a kitchen line, Matbakh El Hay doubles as a training ground, for volunteers, and for interns from AUB, NDU, USJ, USEK, and the Lebanese University.
