The Fill Their Lunchboxes program was created in response to alarming reports from schools across Lebanon, where many children arrive with empty lunchboxes, or, at most, a piece of bread. This heartbreaking reality highlights the severe economic struggles faced by families, forcing them to make impossible choices about which meals to forgo.

Understanding the vital connection between proper nutrition and a child’s ability to focus, learn, and succeed, Berrad El Hay launched this initiative to provide vulnerable children in semi-private and public schools with nutritious, weekly lunchboxes.

More Than a Meal: Beyond physical nourishment, this program fosters emotional and psychological well-being, ensuring children feel cared for and supported as they navigate their educational journey.
