Farah was one of the most committed beneficiaries of our neighborhood fridge programs. She always arrived on time to pick up the food plates, which were the primary source of nourishment for her family, especially her young granddaughter, Lina.

Since children have a significant share in our programs, the social worker aimed to involve Lina in all activities, such as the Christmas party, Children’s Day, summer camp, stationery distribution, and more. This eased the burden on Grandma Farah, whose main concern was to see her granddaughter happy, enjoying new experiences, and making new friends.

This support led to wonderful news: Grandma Farah was employed despite her advanced age, making her a productive member of her family once again.
